About the Author
Lauren Heller is an associate professor of economics in the Campbell School of Business and Director of the Honor's Program at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. Dr. Heller's research interests include international health and development economics, as well as a wide variety of policy questions and topics and in applied microeconomics. She received her bachelor’s degree from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and her Ph.D. in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to her research fields, she also enjoys teaching in Berry’s honors program and using discussion and multimedia clips to illustrate economic concepts in her classes.
