About the Author
Mark J. Perry is a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute and a professor at the University of Michigan’s Flint campus, where he teaches graduate classes in economics and finance. He is best known as the creator and editor of the popular economics blog Carpe Diem, which is now hosted by AEI. In addition to scholarly research, Perry enjoys writing guest editorials to a general audience on current economic issues.
